The former CIO of Falcon Private Bank, David Pinkerton, is now heading a new Zurich investment advisory firm, Citywire Switzerland can reveal.
Alpha Leonis Partners focuses on active private and capital markets. Pinkerton is CEO and CIO of the new firm, which aims to cater to family offices and small institutions that are looking for private equity and hedge funds advice.
The firm will provide private equity strategies, including direct equity/co-investment opportunities, real estate, cash enhancement strategies through low volatility liquid alternatives, and active private equity-like strategies in capital markets (credit and equity).
It will also provide CIO outsourcing solutions and will develop strategic asset allocation management, investment policy and capital markets research and insights.
